HER STORY
A Journey Rooted In Purpose
Katrina's journey began with one simple question: Why is it so hard for the people who keep America moving to find a safe place to park? What started as research became a mission to build real solutions. Today, Axle Plus is focused on creating innovative freight infrastructure that delivers lasting impact.
Where It Started
A life-changing highway accident involving an exhausted truck driver opened Katrina's eyes to the realities of driver fatigue and the shortage of safe parking.
Finding the Opportunity
During the pandemic, Katrina entered the freight industry through dispatching and discovered one problem every driver shared: safe, reliable truck parking.
Experience That Matters
With over a decade in banking, fraud detection, and operations, Katrina developed the skills to identify risk, solve complex problems, and build trusted systems
Building Axle Plus
Today, she's transforming that experience into a technology-driven infrastructure company designed to improve safety, efficiency, and the future of freight.
Our Mission
Safety, dignity, and technology on every route.
To help communities, transportation agencies, investors, and commercial drivers solve America's truck parking challenge through innovative infrastructure, strategic public-private partnerships, and scalable solutions that improve safety, strengthen supply chains, and create lasting economic value.
Our Vision
Shaping the Future of Freight Through Partnership.
To build a future where investors, municipalities, and transportation agencies work together to deliver smarter truck parking infrastructure, creating safer roads, stronger supply chains, thriving communities, and lasting value across America's freight network.
FOUNDER INSIGHTS
Lessons That Shape Our Path
Great founders don't just defend their original ideas, they refine them. Every challenge, conversation, and discovery shapes a stronger vision for what's possible.

The GDOT Lesson
Working with public agencies revealed that solving the truck parking crisis requires more than a great idea. Lasting infrastructure is built through collaboration, public-private partnerships, and a clear understanding of how communities bring projects to life.

Partnership Is the Solution
The future of freight depends on collaboration between counties, municipalities, state transportation agencies, economic development organizations, and the trucking industry. Axle Plus exists to be the trusted execution partner that helps bring these partnerships to life.

Drivers Lead the Way
Every strategy we develop is informed by the experiences of professional drivers. Their feedback helps us identify operational challenges, improve safety, and design infrastructure that meets real-world freight needs.

The Road Ahead
Our mission extends beyond truck parking. We help communities create safer highways, stronger supply chains, new jobs, increased tax revenue, and sustainable economic growth through infrastructure built for the future.

"Every great company begins with a problem worth solving. For me, that problem wasn't simply truck parking, it was creating safer roads, supporting the people who keep our economy moving, and building infrastructure that future generations can depend on.
My hope is that Axle Plus becomes more than a company; it becomes a lasting contribution to the future of freight."
